Description
The Home Office is the lead government department for public safety, migration and borders and homeland security. The Home Office Biometrics Programme (HOB) provides the biometric capability to support UK law enforcement, immigration, border security and UK passport (HMPO) business users. The Strategic and Central Bureau Platform (SCBP) provides the core components of the existing IABS (immigration and borders) and IDENT1 (law enforcement) biometric systems after disaggregation of the matcher, gateway and mobile elements. The HOB Programme is seeking market knowledge from suppliers in relation to the future direction of the platform, particularly in relation to shaping our commercial strategy as we near the end of the initial term of our incumbent contract.
