Description
Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust (CCST) is seeking a preferred provider through a process similar to the Competitive Dialogue procedure, for Pharmacy Provisions, including procurement of stock and dispensing. These services are to be delivered across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Peterborough & Suffolk.
The following is a list of services, but this list is not exhaustive and services may change. There is a need for the Community Clinics to have supplies for the core services of:
- Dental Healthcare - Stock, including S3 Controlled drug (midazolam)
- DynamicHealth (Musculoskeletal service - MSK) - Stock
- iCaSH Integrated Contraception and Sexual Health)
a) Stock, including over-labelled packs for patients to take away, vaccines, some unlicensed products, in accordance with our iCaSH Formulary
b) VAT efficient dispensing service, mainly ARVs
(i) To be supported by a specialist pharmacist who will participate in MDT
(ii) In accordance with NHS England's commissioning criteria
(iii) To be supplied at CMU contract prices. We are bound by DoH rules but will endeavor to facilitate access
- Supplies to support the Annual Flu programme
- Management Information
It is envisaged that there will be a home delivery option for patients who need this service, amongst the core services.
Included in the strategic approach are a set of vested contract principles designed to facilitate and develop a true partnership approach, such as the ability for the preferred Partner to 'earn' additional years of the contract relationship, within the maximum extension beyond the initial three-year term up to a maximum of two further years, through over-performance and exceeding expectations from the core contract minimum standards.
