Description
Clinton Marine Survey has alerted Historic England to the presence of a previously unknown wooden wreck, which was discovered during a geophysical survey of the Duddon estuary as part of the UK Civil Hydrography programme during 2021.
The wreck is a candidate for scheduling under the 1979 Act.
A full assessment is therefore required, including a desk-based assessment to bring together known evidence on the site, and a diver survey in order to ground truth features identified in the geophysical survey data.
