Description
Subway Structural Survey & Trial Trenches, Fleming Way, Swindon
Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of structural investigations of the subway structure on Fleming Way. Additionally, trial trenches are proposed in the area to supplement the information available from the preliminary design stage.
Project Description
Swindon Borough Council requires site investigations to inform the detailed design of a new Bus Boulevard at Fleming Way, Swindon. The Bus Boulevard project includes regrading Fleming Way and the removal of the subway. The structural investigation is proposed in order to determine the construction of the subway and the results will aid the cost estimation of its demolition and removal. The trial trenches will be used to confirm the locations of services in the area as found within the C2 searches and GPR survey.

Contract Period
The initial contract term will be for 9 weeks as stated in the RFQ documents.
