Brighton and Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council and Surrey County Council (the Orbis partners), have a requirement to carry out a rolling refresh of their client device estate (desktop PCs and laptops) with the refresh of a specific device based on several factors, including its age and continued ability to meet the demand and performance of a changing application estate.
The Orbis partners are looking to replace their current contract with one that not only covers the supply of new devices but one that will also include any services needed to support a modern and flexible approach to the deployment of those devices.
The new contract will also need to include an asset recovery service that will be responsible for the secure and safe recovery of any device being replaced.
