Description
The BBC is conducting a competitive procurement to appoint a provider(s) for each of the three lots in accordance with the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation (CPN) procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The BBC is aiming to deliver a benefits hub for delivery of employee core and voluntary benefits, a recognition scheme and access to discounts on retail products and experiences in order to aid the recruitment and retention of the best talent through a comprehensive and competitive benefits offering.
The Services covered by this Procurement have been divided into 3 Lots as detailed below:
Lot 1 - Provisions for an Employee Benefits Platform and Associated Managed Services. The requirement is for an integrated benefits platform which includes salary sacrifice and deductions along with all associated managed services. Value for this Lot is approximately £52m.
Lot 2- Provisions for an Employee Retailer Concessions Scheme. The requirement is for a site/platform that provides BBC employees with access to concessions on retail products, services and experiences. It is the BBC's expectation that these Services will be provided on a cost neutral basis for the organisation. Therefore, the Service Provider will have the exclusive right to operate and manage the service on the basis that they will be remunerated through commission schemes offered by businesses or retailers whose products and/or services are promoted to the BBC's employees, services users.
Lot 3 - Provisions for an Employee Recognition and Reward Scheme. The requirement is for an employee recognition scheme that facilitates the approval and allocation of rewards such as vouchers and e-codes. Value for this Lot is approximately £2.8m
The initial term of the contract will be three (3) years with options to extend at the BBC's sole discretion by up to two (2) years, plus an additional period of up to two (2) years (3 + 2+ 2).
****PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OVERALL ESTIMATED SPEND IS £56M OF WHICH APPROXIMATELY £51M (93%) WILL BE RECOVERED VIA LOT 1 (SALARY SACRIFICE)****
