Description

The National Physical Laboratory wishes to procure a high-resolution, high-purity germanium gamma-ray spectrometer with an electro-cooling system (no liquid nitrogen). The instrument will operate at 30-40% relative efficiency and be supplied with a lead shield. NPL's Nuclear Metrology Group will use this equipment to increase its capability for high-resolution gamma-spectrum measurements in relation to neutron metrology.
