Description
Through addressing sustainable seafood challenges, the OCPP hopes to ensure seafood produced and distributed in ways which support healthy ecosystems, do not overexploit marine stocks, provide sustainable inclusive and equitable livelihoods and enhance resilience to climate and socioeconomic shocks.
Cefas will host workshops in Sri Lanka, India and Kenya, to formally introduce the concept of One Health Aquaculture (OHA) to Responsible Authorities and other stakeholders with responsibility for policies associated with environmental-, human health- and animal health-elements of national aquatic food production.
The successful Tenderer is required to:
1. Work with Cefas colleagues to understand the programme objectives and OHA principles.
2. Comply with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 or equivalent national legislation.
1. Develop and design a workshop/s agenda and associated literature.
2. Facilitate a workshop in:
- Sri Lanka - virtual, 1-2 days, February 2022
- Kenya - blended with virtual and physical attendance, 2-4 days, early March 2022
- India - blended with virtual and physical attendance, 2-3 days, May or June 2022
3. Workshops to involve interactive elements, breakout activities, training sessions and keynote speakers.
4. The workshops must be available via an event platform/website accessible through a computer and or mobile, which the tenderer must host and manage.
5. Ability to provide virtual and in-person options for attendance.
6. Manage stakeholder attendance.
7. Provide a workshop report detailing discussions, key actions, and messages within one month of the workshop.
8. Lead and provide technical expertise in digital facilitation and necessary tools for a virtual and blended workshop.
10. Organise venue, and accommodation and travel bookings for delegates.
11. Ensure facilities are set-up for the workshop appropriately, and in a covid-safe manner.
12. Ensure workshop & facilities make best efforts on sustainability.
