Description

The Department for Transport (DfT) produces Transport Analysis Guidance (TAG) that consists of software tools and guidance on transport modelling and appraisal methods. This guidance enables analysts to undertake evidence-based appraisal and development of transport interventions, which support business cases and inform investment funding decisions.

Some TAG modelling guidance units have not been updated significantly since 2014, meanwhile there have been major improvements and changes to data availability and modelling approaches during this time.

The Department is seeking experienced peer reviewers who will provide expert advice and professional opinion as to whether the updated guidance represents good practice and is sufficiently succinct and understandable for a range of practitioner experience. The guidance should allow for appropriate and proportionate application within the appraisal process
