Description
The Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Haringey (the "Council") is inviting Tenders for the Provision of suitable contractor to complete roof renewal works to Cordell House.
Background:
Cordell House Is a 13-storey high rise block containing 48 flats, 43 of which are tenanted and 5 which are leasehold. The block is located on the Stamford/Markfield Estate in South Tottenham. There is a tank room and other plant including RF/Comms aerials on the roof. There has been severe water ingress in the top floor flats and one of the flats has been decanted due to this. Haringey Repairs Service have carried out patch repairs, but it is clear the roof is now overdue for full renewal.
Scope:
Full strip back and renewal of flat roof and tank room, possible works also required to parapet and edge protection. Flat roof to incorporate required level of insulation.
