Description

The University (the University) recognises its statutory obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order to provide emergency lighting systems. Over the next few years the University plans to upgrade and/or replace many of its outdated facilities providing modern fit for purpose facilities to support our ambitious plans to grow student numbers. This work will include refurbishments and new build projects. At the same time, we need to ensure our estate is well maintained and meets statutory obligations. The University wishes to replace its existing internal emergency lighting with more efficient and effective LED lights.
