Description

Description of requirement
Historic England has a main corporate website at https://historicengland.org.uk. The site includes content from a range of APIs and data services with the structure and narrative content managed by a content management system (Umbraco). The corporate website is accompanied by content from a range of sources, including a WordPress blog, a handful of legacy satellite websites and a lively presence on several social media channels. The corporate site and some of the satellite sites make use of an account website which allows cross-site user registration and login.

The in-house Content, Digital and Marketing Department are responsible for tracking and monitoring content reach and user behaviour as well as supporting other departments in understanding and setting goals for digital delivery. The in-house team includes a UX researcher, designers, content specialists, testers, front-end developers and access to .NET developers via our internal IMT department.
