Description

Keele University, School of Allied Health Professions, commence a new qualifying 2-year MSc in Prosthetics & Orthotics (P&O) in January 2022. This will be the first Master's level P&O graduating programme in the UK. This invitation to tender is to equip the machine room and plaster room to support the education of students on the programme.

Tenders are therefore invited for the Contract for the Supply, Delivery and Installation of Equipment for the Prosthetic and Orthotic Machine Room and Plaster Room in accordance with the Tender Specification in Section 2 of the ITT. The Specification must be carefully read by Tenderers to ensure that they fully understand the scope of the required contract.

The estimated total value of the contract is £150,000 excluding VAT.

Main reasons for decision not to subdivide contract into lots: Given the need for one supplier to co-ordinate the supply, delivery and installation of the equipment required, the contract has not been subdivided into lots.

The Supply, Delivery and Installation of the Equipment for the Prosthetic and Orthotic Machine Room and Plaster Room shall be completed by 17th December 2021.

The contract will run until the Completion Date of 17th December 2021 followed by a 12 month defects liability period. Training and Maintenance support will be provided for a 12 month period in accordance with the Tender Specification in Section 2 of the ITT.

Tenderers must submit a tender for ALL items detailed in the Tender Specification in Section 2 of the ITT (these items also detailed in the Commercial Pricing Spreadsheet in Schedule B). If you fail to meet this requirement, then your tender submission will be rejected as non-compliant and will not be considered further.

Note: Tenderers are required to provide in their tender return, a copy of their audited accounts for the last two years or if this cannot be supplied, the supporting evidence detailed in either 4.1(a), (b) or (c) on page 45 of the ITT.
