Description

Coventry University occupy the whole (seven floors) of Portal House, New Union St, Coventry CV1 2PL, on a leasehold basis. Each floor generally houses a different department, all of whom have expressed a need for rationalising their space, together with a wish to increase occupancy levels. The only exception to this is the second floor, which was refurbished in 2018.

The initial Feasibility study will cover five main areas of work:

1) Rationalising and improving floor plates for the occupants
2) Increasing toile provision to support additional occupancy levels
3) Enhancement works to the central core, also to support increased occupancy levels.
4) Improving lighting, heating and ventilation throughout the building.
5) Introduction of Agile Working practices
