Description

The Authority currently has a Contract in place with a number of Vehicle Recovery Operators, who have been assigned specific areas, for the Provision of a Vehicle Recovery Scheme to West Midlands Police.

The Contract which commenced on 1st March 2015, is due to expire on 28th February 2018. However the Contract may at the discretion of the Authority, be extended for a further two periods of 12 months each.

The Authority is seeking to appoint an additional supplier for reliance purposes to cover the northern parts of the Birmingham East NPU and Birmingham West NPU, from 1st June 2017 to the 28th February 2018, with the option to extend for a further two period of 12 month each in line with the current Contract.

The Contract is divided into the following two lots:

• Lot 1 - Recovery of Light Vehicles
• Lot 2 - Recovery of Heavy Vehicles
