Description
The Amelia Scott invites proposals for a permanent Exterior Brick Artwork to be situated within the external 'Curated Courtyard' in preparation for the reopening of the building due in spring 2022. From kilns and peg tiles to the Pantiles and the terraced Victorian houses and streets throughout the borough, the clay of the local land has enabled the production of some of the finest brickwork in England. This commission will be inspired by bricks and tiles - these iconic, sometimes unique, and often overlooked items of the borough's heritage and history.
