Description

Tenders are invited for Quantity Surveyor and Employer's Agent Services for Innovation Centre 7 (IC7) project at Keele University in accordance with the Tender Specification in Section 2 of the ITT.

The form of contract that the University intends to enter into with the Service Provider for the work will be the JCT - Consultancy Agreement (Public Sector) 2016 as amended by the University together with the Scope of Service. The Schedule of Amendments to the JCT - Consultancy Agreement (Public Sector) 2016 are provided in Section 3 of the ITT (Schedule A) and the Scope of Service forms part of the Tender Specification in Section 2 of the ITT.

The programmed date of appointment for the Quantity Surveyor and Employer's Agent Services will be 9th November 2020, starting with assistance in the evaluation of the works tender and the contract will run until the Defects Liability Period - 12 months following Works Contract completion, estimated as 29th April 2023 .
The estimated value for the Quantity Surveyor and Employer's Agent Services are £70,000

The indicative date for that the University anticipates entering into the Design and Build Contract is 22nd January 2021.
Design & Build for the Innovation Centre 7 (IC7) covering a total area of 2696 m² . The estimated total value of Design & Build contract excluding VAT is £9,875,000 . A construction period of 60 weeks , with an indicative completion date of 29th April 2022.
