Description
Corserv on behalf of Cormac Solutions Ltd are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Manging Agent to oversee all aspects of the practical sustainable woodland management work as set out in the UK Forest Standard (UKFS).
Foremost will be to create a Framework Agreement, operational preparations (including full site planning and stakeholder communication and management) to enable local woodland and forestry contractors to undertake small scale operations and assure the quality of those operations within Council owned woods.
Key points include:
A suitable Consultant or Agency to manage, coordinate and deliver the tender outcomes and provide prices for the following:
1. Setting up a local forestry contractor framework.
2. Setting out a prioritised costed work programme for this winter's proposed works for our approval.
3. Mange and coordinate the appointment and supervision of contractors, liaison with Cormac rangers, direct liaison with communities/individuals, making applications as necessary, provide virtual update meetings with Cormac and Cornwall Council to review progress and agree next steps.
4. Identify costs for a 2022/23 works programme and beyond.
The tender will initially be for a 12 months period with an option to extend for a further year.
The intention is to award the contract to the most economically advantageous tenderer based on 50% Quality and 50% Price.
