Description

The Contractor will provide a Website that is cost-effective, secure and compliant with modern industry standards and on-going support throughout the lifetime of the contract.

The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust is the only hospital trust in the UK specialising in neurology, neurosurgery and pain services. Although the majority of patients come from Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales, Lancashire and the Isle of Man, for some specialist treatments of complex disorders we see patients from all parts of the country, referred by their GPs or other neurologists, neurosurgeons and pain clinicians. Approximately 1,500 members of staff are employed by The Walton Centre.

The Trust currently uses a bespoke Content Management System procured seven years ago with minor updates being implemented during this time. The Trusts brand guidelines have been updated since the launch of our current website creating a demand for a new website with the capability to be managed and updated when required.

The aim will be to build a new future-proof website that will serve the needs of web visitors, enhance the Trust's brand and reputation, and reflect the corporate ambitions of the hospital. It's important that this facilitates the growth and development of our staff recruitment, education, charity, research and innovation.

Our Target Audience for the website will be services users, the Public, local stakeholders, service providers, Clinicians, GP's, Researcher's, Industry, Regulators, Third Sector and private partners, job applicants, staff, board members, Governors, Commissioners, Carers/families of patients' and the Media.

The response must be submitted using the e-Tendering Portal (ProContract) by no later than 17:00 on 09th January 2019
You must register and respond with ProContract using the following link https://procontract.due-north.com/Register
