Description

The GC Business Growth Hub (GC BGH), on behalf of the MATMED project partners, wishes to appoint a service provider to take up the role of Communications Manager for the MATMED project

Delivery will commence in June 2019 for six months (with the option to extend/increase volume should demand/budget dictate). With the supplier expected to make a start immediately on appointment.

The project activities are delivered under seven work packages, with three general work packages,
1) Consortium Management,
2) Consortium communications (which the successful supplier will work on) and
3) Long-term effects of the project.
The most essential part and the one most difficult to plan now is engaging with the target groups. MATMED seeks to connect SMEs, larger companies, researchers and investors. Engaging with them, making them participate is what will take up most of the time and effort in the project. It will be a collective effort but designing a good strategy, being very proactive and always finding new ways of raising interest is something that this project must do if we want it to succeed.
The support activities initially have the Interreg North West Region Programme area as the geographical scope, but may include connections with European Centres outside the region, where Life Science and Advanced materials opportunities arise, i.e. events, or centres of expertise. Travel to the partner regions may be required and any costs associated with this should be built into tender responses and innovation.
