Standard Paragraphs
Any company wishing to apply for Tender/Quote documents to be forwarded for pricing must be a current fully active member of Construction line (with no suspension alerts).

Tender documents with an expected return price of over £50,000 in value will also have a Contract Questionnaire attached which will need to be completed and returned with the Tender documents by the Contractor and will be compared to a scoring matrix cross referenced and representative of questions asked in the Contract Questionnaire judged 50% against cost and 50% against quality except in exceptional circumstances. The same will apply to quotations for contracts considered to be of a service nature below the above value and compared 50% against quality and 50% against price on the scoring matrix.

Any successful price can be accepted but works can only commence after completion and return of relevant completed paperwork issued by the Association to all preferred contractors who have not been used by the Association previously. This paperwork details company/bank information and signing of anti fraud/bribery and asbestos disclaimers. Upon receipt of these documents further disclaimers have to be signed by relevant staff at Head Office and The Board of Trustees of the Association to confirm there is no declaration of interest with any new contractor to be used.
