Description

Norfolk County Council wishes to enter into a contract(s) for health and wellbeing services.
The contract/s will be for 4 Lots, providing Occupational Health, Musculoskeletal Injuries Rehabilitation Service (MIRS), an Employee Assistance Programme and a Psychological Assessment and Treatment Service.
The health and well-being of our staff is key to the delivery of services to residents of Norfolk. In conjunction with an in-house health, safety and well-being team, our 6000 managers and employees have access to these services in order to provide assessment, treatment and advice in relation to all aspects of their health that have an impact on their job.
Occupational Health - An assessment, advice and treatment service that enables NCC to manage employees appropriately in relation to the effects of health on work and work on health.
Musculoskeletal Injuries Rehabilitation Scheme - An assessment and treatment service to enable employees to stay in work or return to their normal work duties in the shortest time possible following MS injury and to reduce the risk of employees developing or exacerbating musculoskeletal injury through their work activity.
Employee Assistance Programme (Norfolk Support Line) - An employee assistance programme that helps employees to stay in work and be productive through helping them to address issues affecting their psychological health, supports managers in relation to the psychological aspects of managing employees, and support teams where critical incidents have taken place.
Psychological assessment and treatments - A service that enables managers to understand an employee's psychological health issues in relation to work and, where appropriate, offer a course of treatment to enable the employee to work to their full capacity.
