Description
The council is undertaking borough-wide housing redevelopment and wishes to appoint a suitably experienced, registered and qualified consultant to manage the disconnection and diversion of all services from two of its residential housing sites, in advance of redevelopment.
The appointed consultant / contractor will arrange with the appropriate utility companies - electricity, gas, water and data supplies- for all existing services to the sites to be disconnected and / or diverted so that demolition works can proceed unhindered and in a completely safe manner. The appointee will be expected to develop a firm and committed programme in consultation with both the council and the utility providers that meets the council's timetable. Once agreed, this programme will be driven by the appointee in close liaison with the council to ensure delivery on time
