Description

Arc Partnership (Arc) are responsible for procuring and running the contract for Nottinghamshire County Council's (the Council) network of TREND Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) at 10 of the Council's properties. This comprehensive network of controls, which can be accessed remotely, can be used to see in real time to determine how the heating system(s) are running, to adjust time settings/set points and identify faults as they happen. Arc now has a requirement for a contractor to provide a Bureau Service to support the Council's current BEMS network for a period of 2 years, with an option to extend for 2 further periods of 1 year each (2+1+1 = 4 years maximum). The Bureau Service should ensure the day-to-day operation of the networked Building Energy Management System (BEMS), to include: •Improved comfort control for occupants •Energy cost savings and carbon emission reductions, helping the Council to meet its commitment to becoming carbon neutral in all its activities by 2030. •Improved pro-active preventative maintenance meaning reduced downtime, systems operating more efficiently and extended service life of equipment saving costs. More specifically, the Bureau Service should ensure: •Review, development and maintenance of the central control software interface •Critical alarms are immediately investigated, with the outcome reported to the designated contacts. •Non-critical (maintenance) alarms are investigated and collated into summary reports, sent monthly to NCC. •Telephone support responding to reported issues and requests for adjustment to set points and occupancy times. •As required to visit sites listed and investigate issues relating to critical or non-critical alarms •Delivery and support within normal office NCC hours 9 am to 5 pm, 52 weeks of the year excluding weekends, and bank holidays. We are now seeking expressions of interest from the market to set up and manage the Bureau Service. If you are a supplier who is able to provide this service, please send an email to roberth@scape.co.uk detailing your interest.
