Description

We are looking for 6x full time Social Workers to work across Adults Social Care on a temporary basis for a period of 12 weeks to begin with.

We will be offering candidates a rate of pay of up to £28.00 per hour for this role. Hours are 37 hours per week and candidates would be required to work the core hours of the business which are Monday to Thursday 9.00-5.30 pm and Fridays 9.00-5.00pm.

The Social Workers may need to be deployed in the Community and Hospital teams. They may also be required to work in other teams.
We are looking for Social Workers to work in Oldbury/Smethwick, Tipton/Rowley and in West Bromwich/ Wednesbury. This is a borough wide hospital/intermediate care service.

The service aims to improve the outcomes of residents in Sandwell by:
Enabling/facilitating timely discharges from hospital
Monitoring and facilitating timely discharges from intermediate care provisions
Offering alternatives to hospital admissions
Supporting people to return to independent living

You will deliver an enhanced customer experience that promotes the wellbeing of vulnerable adults to enable them to live independently for longer, supporting them in retaining and regaining their skills and confidence.

You will be social work qualified with 2 or more years post qualifying experience and hold either the degree in social work, Dip SW, CQSW or equivalent and HCPC registered.
An Enhanced Adults Barring check DBS will be required for these posts.
