Description

Replacing of, and improvements to, the existing audio visual equipment within Warrington Borough Council's Chamber. Warrington Borough Council's Town Hall is a Grade 1 listed building and is the civic heart of Warrington where all the full Council meetings, committee and sub-committee meetings are carried out. Built in 1750 for the Patten family it has been used by the council since 1870. The Town Hall is not only the location for all of the council's main civic ceremonies and meetings it is also the main office for the senior management team including the Chief Executive and their support staff along with rooms for the members from each of the main local parties. The contractor will provide, install and commission the following: - A suitable replacement for existing microphone system that will include voting and full conference capability - USB charging docks for 60 desks - Webcasting capability that covers the whole room. This is to include the installation of sufficient cameras and any software required to manage them and enable the webcasting. -Projector with sound capability and screen suitable for the room - Lectern with microphone unit and connection to projector The contractor will undertake all activities connected to obtaining full heritage building planning permission for whatever work is required.
