Description

The Trust wishes to establish a Contract for the provision of a Think Family Domestic Abuse service. The tender is being divided into 2 distinct service areas. There will, however, be a requirement for the commissioned services to work in partnership on cases where relevant.

Lot 1- Victim-Survivor Support Service

Service provision to deliver services to victim-survivors including children as defined in section 2.1 of the service specification

Lot 2 - Abusing Parent/Partner Support Service

Service provision to deliver services to abusive parent or partner as defined the service specification

Tender submissions are welcomed by single providers or a consortium bid for both lots.

The commissioned service will provide advice, support and guidance to staff within the Early Help service and Social Work teams to ensure robust safety planning and risk assessment alongside interventions to reduce either the risk or further domestic abuse and/or recovery from domestic abuse, honour based abuse and forced marriage from a whole family perspective. Victims to be supported will be identified in line with the protected characteristics outlined within the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, and services will be expected to work with all victims and perpetrators of abuse.

The duration of the contract will initially be for 17 months commencing 1st November 2021, with the potential to extend for a further 3 years. The contract will be reviewed on an annual basis with a break clause after March 2023, and each subsequent year, subject to funding availability and performance.
