Description

Hi Tech Rail Project - TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY OF ROBOTIC ARM TO THE UNIVERSITY OF BIRMINGHAM

In summary this tender is for a single robotic arm on a linear track, which will be used for object recognition/manipulation based on contact sensing, to include linear track for mounting the arm on, as described in the technical specification section - part 2, section 1.

This is to be funded by the HiTech Rail project which is an ERDF-funded initiative aimed at enabling West Midlands SMEs to develop innovative rail products. The project is based in the Centre for Railway Research and Education at the University of Birmingham.
