Description
The University wishes to appoint a Contractor to supply a a state-of-the-art Superconducting Quantum Interference Device (SQUID) based magnetometer, with vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), ultra-lowfield capability, and AC susceptibility measurements, and capable of providing high magnetic fields and high sensitivity over a wide temperature range. This instrument will be sited in the Centre for Radiochemistry research (CRR) to support the research of many groups in this area, and to provide a facility for such measurements nation-wide.
