***THIS PIN NOTICE IS TO NOTIFY SUPPLIERS OF A POTENTIAL UPCOMING REQUIREMENT THAT WILL BE ADVERTISED USING THE CCS RM3824 HEAT NETWORKS AND ELECTRICITY GENERATION ASSETS DPS (HELGA), PLEASE SEE THE LOT AND FILTER OPTIONS BELOW THAT WILL APPLY TO THIS OPPOTUNITY***

Lot - Lot 1: Service 1 (Technical) > Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)

Brief Description of the Requirement

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy ("BEIS"), wishes to appoint a specialist supplier to conduct a review of novel CCUS technology for industrial, waste and power sites. This work will review next-generation CCUS technology that can deploy by 2030. The work will include technoeconomic analyses of the technologies, identifying the suitability of each technology for different sectors and engaging with industrial sites to understand specific challenges around deployment. This work will exclude Greenhouse Gas removal (GGR) approaches such as direct air capture (DAC).

Supplier Engagement Day

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, alongside UK Shared Business Services Limited, will be hosting a Microsoft Teams meeting to further discuss this requirement before it goes live to the open market.

This Market Engagement day will be held on Wednesday 12th May 2021 at 10:00 am. The session will last approximately two hours.
