Description

The V&A is seeking an independent storage consultant to provide specialist advice regarding the storage and access of heritage objects at its new Collections and Research Centre. The building which will house the Centre is already built, it was used as the broadcasting centre during the Olympic Games. The building is now occupied by several tenants and the V&A will be leasing a part of the building, currently core and shell, and fitting it out to create a Centre that is fit for purpose for the 21st century. It will provide visitor facilities, alongside collections conservation and research facilities and, critically, storage facilities to house the Museum's collections from three existing stores.
