Description

The final date and time for the submission of bids is Wednesday 6th March 2019 at 14:00. DO NOT apply directly to the buyer. All tender information MUST be submitted through the CCS eSourcing Portal.

The equipment is required for screening of total phatalates content in PVC and other plastics and for identification of polymer for correct sample preparation for GC/MS analysis.

Spectrometer shall have a spectral range of at least 4000 to 650cm-1 with resolution 4cm-1. Sensitivity must provide a Level of Quantification (LoQ) of 0.1% total phthalate in PVC with calibrated method. The instrument shall include an attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) sampling unit and NIST polymer libraries or equivalent for the identification of polymers. There should be an internal verification routine to validate the instrument performance prior to measurements.
