Description

The LGA's democracy team are looking to commission expert contractors to provide training on a range of topics under the umbrella of 'civility in public life'. The core of this offer would be a series of six national online workshops open to councillors across England and Wales, three of which would be on councillor personal safety, and three on handling online abuse, harassment and intimidation.

An optional, seventh national online workshop, focussing on safer canvassing tips and techniques, should be offered as an option for delivery in the run up to the beginning of campaigning for the May 2025 local election cycle.
