Description

Nottinghamshire County Council wishes to establish a Framework Agreement for Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Training Programme.
The Provider(s) shall develop, promote and provide bespoke Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Training courses addressing:
• Mental health training for front line workers that provide services for Adults and Older People (including volunteers and community leaders) who are not mental health professionals but have regular face to face interaction with vulnerable people to increase skills and confidence to recognise people with Adults and Older People's mental health problems and offer appropriate support.
• How to promote physical health for Adults and Older People with mental health problems by signposting to health improvement services, such as smoking cessation, weight management, substance misuse, domestic violence and sexual health services.
• Suicide prevention training for Adults and Older People's front line health, social care and emergency services workers who are not mental health professionals but have regular face to face interaction with vulnerable people at increased risk of suicide to increase skills and confidence to recognise people with Adults and Older People's at risk of suicide offer appropriate support.

There is no guaranteed volume or value for the provision of training courses through this Framework Agreement.
