Description

The River Cole and Tyseley Community Commons project will deliver a programme of blue and green infrastructure improvement interventions in the Tyseley area of the River Cole Valley. The activities will focus on habitat enhancements across the project area which will be connected by a programme of community-led wayfinding, planting and arts interventions.

The main output of the project will be a rehabilitated, currently underutilised urban, green space area into an accessible and connected green corridor in East Birmingham that is made available for increased biodiversity, economic and community activity.

This project is funded by ERDF.
