Description

The Contractor provides the management and implementation of the Rockfall Protection Systems
'Phase II - Phase V', summarised below:

• Phase II (Envisaged Commencement within 2023)
The installation of a rockfall protection system to the Eastern Docks cliff face (Asset ID: DHB.2900.120.001). The project involves the removal (and disposal of) of the existing rockfall protection barrier(s) and the replacement installation of approximately 223m (linear) of a 5m high (projection) GBE-500A rockfall barrier (and approximately 450m2 of a TECCO Stainless Steel (G65/3) slope stabilisation system) manufactured by Geobrugg AG, within the Eastern Docks, Port of Dover (As indicated on drawing 01578-C001-SP-TE).

• Phase III Envisaged Commencement within 2024)
The installation of a rockfall protection system to the Eastern Docks cliff face (Asset ID: DHB.2900.120.001). The project involves the removal (and disposal of) of the existing rockfall protection barrier(s) and the replacement installation of approximately 191m (linear) of a 3m high (projection) GBE-500A rockfall barrier manufactured by Geobrugg AG, within the Eastern Docks, Port of Dover (As indicated on drawing 01578-C001-SP-TE).

• Phase IV Envisaged Commencement within 2025)
The installation of a slope stabilisation system to the Eastern Docks cliff face (Asset ID: DHB.2900.120.001). The project involves the removal (and disposal of) of the existing slope stabilisation systems and the replacement installation of approximately 2750m2 of a TECCO Stainless Steel (G45/2) slope stabilisation system manufactured by Geobrugg AG, within the Eastern Docks, Port of Dover (As indicated on drawing 01578-C001-SP-TE).

• Phase V Envisaged Commencement within 2026)
The installation of a slope stabilisation system to the Eastern Docks cliff face (Asset ID: DHB.2900.120.001). The project involves the removal (and disposal of) of the existing slope stabilisation system and the replacement installation of approximately 2400m2 of a TECCO Stainless Steel (G45/2) slope stabilisation system (and approximately 12m2 of a SPIDER 'S3-130' rock protection system), manufactured by Geobrugg AG, within the Eastern Docks, Port of Dover (As indicated on drawing 01578-C001-SP-TE).
