Description
Colchester Borough Council wants to commission a Consultant to create a Concept Design Brief (the Brief) for land to the south of Axial Way within the Colchester Northern Gateway. The site is to be developed with residential, including specialist residential, leisure, open space and commercial uses in a broad mix centred on a pedestrian and cycle Boulevard. A recent Master Plan Review and Public Realm Strategy provide the planning policy and design context. The Brief is required now to provide detailed guidance on how sites at the eastern end of the Northern Gateway can be developed.
