Description

The University of Southampton has a requirement to procure a 4-channel Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG), capable of generating digital or analogue signals in a programmable fashion at a high speed. Its primary application will be the generation of a variety of advanced modulation formats for optical communication systems. The AWG should be a stand-alone unit (or at most, it could be controlled via an external Windows 7 PC with no more specialised software than a Matlab API - unless this software is included in the tender offer), and should fit within a 19'' rack.
