Description
The National Gallery's Conservation Dossiers are contained in a series of stapled cardboard 'volumes', (mostly) comprising 12 sheets stapled or sewn to make up 24 pages; the pages are a little over A3 in size (44.5cm x 34.5cm).
This tender is for the digitisation and delivery of c.3,250 volumes, and c.2,550 envelopes.
The Gallery wishes to digitise the Conservation Dossiers in a way that enables us to:
1. Use the digital images internally, instead of the paper versions.
2. Extract (from the file name and the meta data in the digitised pages) all the information we would need to easily identify these files in our DAMS.
