Description

The BFI is seeking to commission a feasibility study for the creation, provision and maintenance of a new open data platform. The platform will form part of the BFI's activities, funded by a new UK Global Screen Fund (in its pilot year in 2021/22), to provide information and support that enables those working in the UK screen sector - covering the creation of film, television programmes and video games - to understand the opportunities and challenges presented by international partnerships and sales.

We are looking for a research/insight organisation/supplier who has both expertise of understanding international content production, distribution and export and who understands the creative sectors and the nuances associated with the sales of film, television programmes and video games across the globe. In addition, the supplier should have a good technical knowledge of knowledge platforms, how they are operated, designed and maintained, what the advantages of such platforms can be and what the downfalls are, preferably gained through practical experience of acquiring, designing or maintaining such a tool.
