Description

Birmingham City Council, Birmingham Community Safety Partnership and University Hospitals Birmingham are seeking quotes from competent organisations to work with young men from communities underserved in Sexual Health services to:

• Increase Chlamydia testing amongst young men aged 15-24
• Improve access to sexual health and substance misuse services for young men from underserved communities
• Empower young men to recognise, challenge and become resilient to negative social and cultural attitudes and behaviours relating to sexual health and relationships
• Reduce impact of drug and alcohol use (open, hidden and involvement in supply) on young men's sexual health attitudes and behaviours
• Improve awareness, engagement and support from key community leaders to challenge social and culturally related stigma of sexual health, promote healthy sexual behaviour and positive attitudes towards women and girls.

The maximum bid value for this contract is £120,000 over two years (£60k p.a.). The delivery period of this contract is 2 years (continuation into year 2 dependent upon demonstration of satisfactory delivery in year 1).
