We are looking to elevate global awareness and reputation of the Wilberforce Institute amongst the following audiences:
• Practitioners who are active in the areas of Human Rights and Modern Slavery, including lawyers, policy makers, politicians, police and local authorities - with a view to attracting a very high profile patron and influential Advisory Board.
• Funding bodies such as Research England, the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), the Welcome Trust etc.
• Potential research partners such as other universities/bodies
• Academics who may want to work with or for us
• Potential PhD students - actively make a difference to lives and communitites
• Businesses who need or wish to meet the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act
• Schools and colleges, helping us to shape and influence young people
