Description

South Tyneside Council wishes to establish a district heat and power network in Hebburn.
The scheme is intended to heat properties in Hebburn via extracting mine water from flooded abandoned mine workings several hundred metres below ground. The contract is to drill an abstraction and separate re-injection well and perform the testing prescribed within the tender documents.
