Description

The Council requires a supplier for the provision of footfall data across various locations in Birmingham.

Birmingham has been granted funding under ERDF Welcome Back Fund to support the safe reopening of high streets and other commercial areas. The money will allow Birmingham to put in place additional measures to establish a safe trading environment for businesses and customers, particularly in high streets, through measures that extend to the end of March 2022.

A key measurement tool for this fund and to demonstrate economic recovery is to monitor footfall data.

This contract is available for use for projects funded externally from the Council including Reopening High Streets Safely Fund and Welcome Back Fund which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) Growth.

Footfall data for the following areas will be required for the period 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. Data must show a year on year comparison (from 2019 and 2020) demonstrated in a monthly breakdown.
