We provide tailored support to help Participants progress in their journey, to deal with their barriers and get into sustainable employment. It is therefore crucial support is accessible and timely.

Due to the nature of our delivery, we are seeking Intervention Partners to meet the high demand we are seeing for translation services. The provision will support Participants to access Seetec services and provision enabling them to progress in their journey.

Seetec require a provider who can deliver predominantly remote but occasionally face-to-face translation and interpreting services to support Seetec participants. Seetec staff would be responsible for booking the translation or interpreting for Participants once a need had been identified.

The successful providers will be included onto our database of Intervention Partners delivering bespoke training and support services to participants.

The support interventions required include, but are not limited to:

• Remote on-demand telephone interpreting services - Seetec require an on-demand service so we can support our participants during pre-booked as well as unplanned appointments
• Remote video interpreting services
• Remote video BSL interpreting services
• Face-to-face BSL interpreting services
• Document translation services

Seetec has a varied participant base as such it is important the successful provider can offer a wide range of languages, that may include but are not limited to: British Sign Language, Dari, Pashto, Arabic, Ukrainian, Romanian, Polish, Russian, Kurdish Sorani, Lithuanian, Farsi, Tigrinya, Bengali, Tamil.

Seetec reserves the right to award the contract to one or more providers depending on the applications received.

Supplier must be able to deliver the translation services detailed above.

Supplier must pass the Seetec due diligence process once notified of intent to award (template attached for your information).

Supplier must be able to deliver at least the on-demand services and 2 of the other 4 services detailed below.

• Remote on-demand telephone interpreting services in a wide range of languages
• Remote video interpreting services in a wide range of languages
• Remote video BSL interpreting services
• Face-to-face BSL interpreting services
• Document translation services

Supplier should have experience working with similar cohort of participants (unemployed, economically inactive, ex-offenders, SEND).

- Supplier must submit the rate card template provided which should include the full list of services they are able to provide.

- Any bids that do not answer all questions or requirements will be immediately discounted, and the supplier will not be notified.

Payment Mechanism:

- Spot purchase basis with no guaranteed volumes. Seetec hold contracts across several government departments, spanning multiple geographies across England.

Contracting Entity:

- Seetec Business Technology Centre (SBTC)

- This procurement is to deliver services across the UK arm of the Seetec Group. Referrals may come from the Employability, Business & Training or Communities & Education business units, which trade under the following names:

- Seetec Business Technology Centre (SBTC)
- Seetec Pluss Ltd
- Pluss CIC
- NexSphere
- Kent, Surrey and Sussex Community Rehabilitation Company Ltd (KSSCRC)

- We envisage most referrals to be generated from Seetec's employability contracts (Restart Scheme, Work & Health Programme).

Framework:

- This procurement is for a specific need. However, Seetec will be launching a framework for Intervention Partners who can deliver support services and training to our participants in 2025. The successful suppliers in this bid will automatically be included in Seetec's 2025 framework and we do not envisage you needing to reapply for this. Once on the framework, Seetec reserves the right to direct award future contracts to these Suppliers.
