The scope of the services required for the cable diversion comprises of:
• Detail design
• Procurement
• Construction / Build
• Pre commissioning
• Support to commissioning ( by Others)
The cables comprise of Low Voltage (400v), High Voltage (11kV) Communication cables (telecontrol) to include civil infrastructure.
Located on a nuclear licensed site, external to the current onsite National Nuclear laboratory within the Sellafield site. Currently identified as eight cable diversion packages of work (D&B) and 1 Civil work package (Build to print) relating to the diversion and/or replacement of a number of cables owned by the Utilities department and provision of a new cable pit.
There is also a requirement to include the provision of new power supplies of 400V.
It is to be noted that it is estimated that 80% of the work is associated with Low voltage work.
