Description
NHS Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (the ICB) is seeking to engage with potential providers to understand the position of the market and help develop an approach for potentially commissioning a Primary Care Information governance advice and guidance support service, together with a named Data Protection Officer.
This service will predominantly serve GP practices within the ICB footprint. The main potential responsibilities fall into the following categories (but are not limited to):
• IG Policy Support
• IG consultancy and support
• Data and patient privacy protection
• Support for the Data Security and Protection Toolkit compliance
Further information is provided in the form of a draft service specification as part of the market engagement questionnaire document.
The ICB invites interested providers to complete a market engagement questionnaire as found on the Atamis e-procurement system. Please submit your completed questionnaire by Friday 15th September via Atamis. Interested providers will be able to view this notice via the 'Live Opportunities' list on the Atamis system, available on the following link: https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome
This market engagement is being supported by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the ICB.
