Description

The UK government wishes to modernise VAT collection so that it is fit for the 21st century, by harnessing the latest technologies in payment processing. We are therefore exploring the possibility of split payment for VAT to help to make tax collection more efficient, aiming to minimise administrative burdens for businesses and reduce the risk of tax revenue losses.
