Brief Description of Requirement

Aim
The UKRI ID Team is looking to tender for a project assessing the economic, social and cultural impacts of international development research funded by the research councils before 2015. This work is part of broader preparations for the 2019 spending review, and therefore will need to be delivered in first half of 2019.
Objectives
1) To provide evidence of international development research from awards funded before the Newton Fund and GCRF were introduced to contribute to the business cases which will be made for further ODA spend in the 2019 spending review.

2) To highlight how the introduction of the Newton Fund and GCRF is likely to be contributing to greater ODA research impact in terms of scale, scope, cohesion, legacy, sustainability and value for money.
NB The second objective is not expected to come directly from the project; however, impact evidence from this project should complement and work alongside broader evidence on ODA research policy and benchmarking.

Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the RFx attachments tab within the Emptoris System.

This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
