Description

We are looking to appoint a company to design, source and procure/manufacture, install and then commercially manage a series of temporary advertising locations. The sites will be primarily for adverting and should be large format and high impact but we're also looking for a smart design which combines a practical adverting space with a way of enhancing the location - suggestions include lighting, greening or a creative or social space. These multi-purpose sites could be high or low-tech. Making sustainable choices is important to us. You should also consider the locations - rural or urban, the sites must be robust, secure and maintainable. The offer must deliver 11 temporary 'on street' advertising installations across the district. The Council has already identified some sites and the successful bidder will be required to identify the remaining sites and present their recomendations to the Council. You will need to seek the required planning advice in order to ensure that relevant permissions are in place for installations and that they comply with all relevant planning and highways policy and regulation. Planning for Temporary 'onstreet' advertising sites is for a period of 5 years, as such the installations must have a minimum lifespan of 5 years. While the council is open to discussion on the format of the installations, we expect them to be similar in design to well established models such as the poster drum. We hope these spaces will be seen as creative installations in themselves.
